I love reading quotes. Especially ones I would regard as being written by a pure genius’! A simple sentence can mean so much, and make you look at things around you so much differently.

Not sure who that was written by, I LOVE it, but it has to be one of my favourites because I found it at a point in my business career where everyone around me kept telling me how well I had done and achieved so much at a young age, but I never felt that way. As many of my friends would have heard, I was never satisfied. That might sound really bad, but I think I’m just an ambitious individual. Who is now satisfied that I’m on a journey of success I had that quote up on the office wall for quite a while! Believe

“Behind every successful woman, there is a man.”

As far as I know I wrote this haha! We have all heard that behind every successful man there is a woman, well I believe it works both ways. Love my daddy! He rules

This is the last post, then we’re upto date, finally *phew*.

Just last month, Crystal Iced received a request from one of the biggest brands in the world GOOGLE to customise 6 Google Nexus S mobile phones, for a competition they were holding.

Google themselves were very impressed indeed. This has to be one of the best commissions to have received because I’m a massive Google fan-atic. :) ♥

On Thursday the 3rd of February 2011, I launched my new jewellery brand Candy Pop Jewellery. The idea stemmed from certain designs I was creating for Crystal Iced. Candy Pop is like an off shoot brand from Crystal Iced. Similar, but still very different.

It felt so very right. I had spent years on making Crystal Iced the success it is today, so wanted to widen the scope. I wanted a new challenge. I want to see how successful I can make CPJ.

I love both my brands. Both beautiful in their own way. It’s been just over a month since I launched Candy Pop Jewellery and I can’t believe the response to the designs. I see big things in the future for CPJ

Candy Pop™ specialises in funky, quirky, vintage jewellery with Swarovski Elements.

Last September, I got the chance to work with producers of TV show The Only Way is Essex. Crystal Iced was comissioned to design a Blackberry 8520 case with the renown ITV2 logo for the show. I was told, the ITV boss was very impressed indeed.

I have about 10 thank you cards to date, proudly showcased in the Icey office. It’s the best compliment ever as a artist/designer to feel loved. These are all going to be cherished for life. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to send them to me, they mean alot.

Since a very young age I was taught that the work of an artist is only appreciated once they have died. For example Picasso, Leonardo Da Vinci, etc etc. Read the rest of this entry »

Still back tracking, late 2009, I had the pleasure of designing a Blackberry for the lovely Katie Price. Little did I know it was the first of many many more to come.

Back in April 2009, I had the pleasure of working with Loewe in Harrods London. They got in touch to have some TV inlays customised by Crystal Iced, in gold Swarovski Crystals. The end result was jaw dropping! Who wouldn’t love a TV like this.

Alot of you must have seen the sparkly carriage clocks gifted to the celebrities at the end of the All Star Mr and Mrs, ITV, show. Yes, they were made by my company Crystal Iced too!

This has to be another landmark achievement for my company Crystal Iced. The fame continues….. trust me, it gets better

In spring 2009, I was proud to have the opportunity to work with hair company Goody, who commissioned the customisation of 8 Crystal Iced hairbrushes.

I also worked with Dragons Den winner, Imran Hakim, designing some Crystal Iced iTeddy’s.

Goody held a competition to win the hairbrushes and iTeddy auctioned off both teddy’s for charity.
